Boundary consultant = see consultant to the member-staff boundary

Boundary manager = a person negotiating at his or her group's physical boundary with
    representatives from other groups; also referred to as boundary person or boundary
    representative; subsumed under boundary agent

Boundary person = see boundary manager

Consultant to the member-staff boundary = a staff member monitoring the qualities of the
    boundary between members and staff as they are manifest in task endeavors during the intergroup
    event; also referred to as boundary consultant; subsumed under boundary agent

Delegate = a person who has received authorization from her or his reference group solely to
    deliver messages and/or to receive messages or responses from other groups, or to observe

Group = a collection of two or more individuals engaged in a conscious or unconscious, rational or
    irrational task

Intergroup consultant = a staff member assigned to consult to multi-group meetings held in a
    space reserved for that purpose

Members = collective term for all intergroup event participants who are not staff members; also
    referred to as the membership

Membership = see members

Observer = a person who has received authorization from his or her reference group to be a silent
    observer of other groups

Participants = collective term for all persons, members and staff, engaged in an intergroup event

Plenipotentiary = a person with full authorization from her or his group to solicit, negotiate, and
    make agreements, commitments, and engagements with other groups, as well as to deliver
    messages and receive replies or messages, or simply to silently observe other groups ad libidum

Sector = a group or a collection of individuals, whether purely members, purely staff persons, or a
    mixture of members and staff, that represents or expresses an element, dynamic, or conflict
    germane to the functioning of the entire system of which it is a part

Space = a fixed physical location helpful in the development and survival of groups and sectors

Staff = collective term for all intergroup participants who are not members; also referred to as staff
    collective, staff group, staff members, and staff persons

Staff collective = see staff

Staff consultant = consulting staff member available to work with individual member-formed
    groups during the intergroup event

Staff group = see staff

Staff member = see staff

Staff person = see staff

Supervising boundary consultant = member of staff appointed to oversee, on the staff room's
    physical boundary, the staff boundary manager's decisions or alone to make decisions regarding
    the entry of delegate and plenipotentiarymember representatives seeking verbal interaction with
